BECOMING AN ENERGY ADVISOR
Our Customer Contact Center provides extensive training, tools, and coaching to inspire your best self. You’ll learn how to interact with and delight some of the most important people in our life at SCE-our customers. Training includes classroom and on-the-job training. You’ll learn about a wide-range of topics including: products and services, workflow and policies, customer interaction best practices, and more.
YOUR HIRING JOURNEY
- You apply. Start the process by applying to the opening.
- Application Review. Our team will review your application, and if your background is a match, you will be referred to testing.
- Testing. You’ll be asked to take two assessments as part of the process, so expect an invitation from our Testing Department.
- OnDemand Interview. You may receive an invitation to take a video interview that you can record in a comfortable and safe environment. Expect an invitation from hirevue.com.
- Virtual Interview. You will schedule a virtual interview with a recruiter.
- Offer. If you are selected, a recruiter will contact you to extend your offer.
- Pre-Employment. You will start the pre-employment background and onboarding process.
- Start your Career. The Energy Advisor Training Program begins!

Testing
You will be taking the Energy Advisor Aptitude Test and the Energy Advisor Profile Assessment. Study materials are not needed to prepare for these tests. However, review the information guides for an overview of the testing process and test taking strategies.
OnDemand Interview
After passing both tests, you may receive an invitation to participate in an OnDemand Interview. This is a one-way recorded interview, where you will be asked a series of questions in video format.
Hire
If you are the successful candidate, a recruiter will contact you to extend the offer. Once you accept, a team member will reach out to you to begin the new hire paperwork and guide you through the process.
